Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh terapi komplementer terhadap kualitas hidup survivor pasien kanker payudara stadium lanjut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah scoping review dimana penulis menggunakan empat database yaitu Google scholar, Pubmed, Proquest, dan Science direct dari tahun 2013 hingga 2021. Jenis penelitian yang dicari adalah yang menggunakan cross-sectional dan retrospective observational. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa terapi komplementari alternatif sering digunakan oleh survivor kanker payudara adalah herbal, terapi spiritual, vitamin dan suplemen mineral, praktik manipulatif pikiran-tubuh dan olahraga. Meskipun ada lima artikel yang menyatakan bahwa tidak ada keterkaitan antara penggunaan CAM pada kualitas hidup survivor kanker payudara. Namun, tujuh artikel lainnya menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dari penggunaan CAM pada kualitas hidup survivor kanker payudara. Simpulan, koordinasi pengobatan komplementari alternatif dengan pengobatan kanker konvensional dan penerapan prosedur standar akan memastikan bahwa perawatan pasien dapat diberikan dengan standar kualitas yang maksimal, dengan standar informasi yang tertinggi dan dengan keamanan pengobatan yang maksimal.
