Abstract

Mahasiswa di kampus selalu rajin, berani, percaya diri, dan penuh semangat. Diskriminasi gender di tempat kerja termasuk di sektor maritim tidak dapat disangkal. Namun, semakin banyak siswa yang mendaftar di program maritim di universitas dan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa generasi muda saat ini semakin menyadari persepsi yang berubah tentang laut. Meskipun teori Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R) sering digunakan untuk memprediksi perilaku individu dalam berbagai situasi, penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan 302 responden dikumpulkan. Menurut analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan Smart PLS, ada korelasi positif antara citra pekerjaan dan minat pribadi dan reputasi karier. Selain itu, minat pribadi dan citra pekerjaan memengaruhi keinginan untuk bekerja di industri maritim. Studi ini akan membantu institusi pendidikan tinggi dan pengusaha di industri maritim membuat kebijakan dan strategi rekrutmen yang lebih baik untuk menarik dan meningkatkan partisipasi.
